Everything we need in life is provided, and we believe there’s not a skin issue nature can’t help soothe. All ingredients used in Willow by the Sea products are 100% certified organic, free of any synthetic nasties, and are never tested on animals.

AVOCADO OIL

Everyone’s favourite toast topper is also a hard-working source of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E. Soothing avocado oil contains potassium and lecithin, which work to support healing in very dry, irritated or scarred skin, and its anti-inflammatory properties can also help reduce redness associated with sunburn and nappy rash.

ALMOND SWEET OIL

Rich in vitamin E, monounsaturated fatty acids and potassium, sweet almond oil is a mild hypoallergenic oil that can be used safely to deeply moisturise and nourish even the newest of skin. High in zinc, the sweetly scented nutty oil also helps soothe nappy rash.

BEESWAX

We have a lot to thank beautiful bees for, not least of all their antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial beeswax. Useful in helping treat skin irritations, beeswax also contains vitamin A, which deeply penetrates skin and stimulates collagen production.

CASTOR OIL

With its high concentration of Omegas 6 and 9, castor oil is a potent natural remedy used to treat dry skin, leaving it deeply moisturised and smoothed. Packed with unsaturated fatty acids, this veritable Wonder Woman of oil can also aid the fading of blemishes and scars, help prevent stretchmarks, and promote healthy scalp and hair growth.

CALENDULA FLOWERS

The brightly hued Calendula flower is a powerful antioxidant and strong antiviral herb. Containing a high concentration of anti-inflammatory agent linoleic acid, Calendula soothes and moisturises sensitive and dry skin, and can also help alleviate irritating nappy rash symptoms.

CHAMOMILE FLOWERS

What did we do to deserve chamomile? The unassuming flower is not only rich in vital antioxidants that help soothe, nourish and replenish irritated and dull skin, it works to reduce tension and stress, and promotes the sort of calm restfulness you’ve been waiting for.

COCONUT OIL

All hail coconut oil. High in anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial properties, coconut oil contains vitamin E, essential amino acids, and lauric and caprylic acids, which act as a powerful anti-fungal skin barrier. Coconut oil is loaded with saturated fats that deeply penetrate and repair, restore and nourish thirsty skin. Also smells like a summer holiday.

COCOA BUTTER

Gorgeously creamy cocoa butter is rich in antioxidants and fatty acids that deeply moisturise and protect skin from environmental stressors and free radicals. The sublimely smelling butter is also loaded with skin-loving Vitamin E and can be used to help prevent stretchmarks during pregnancy.

GERANIUM ESSENTIAL OIL

This beautiful essential oil boasts anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal properties perfect for treating stressed skin, as well as having powerful emotional stabilising effects that help calm and uplift anxious mums and bubs.

GRAPESEED OIL

First grapes gave us wine, and now this. Heaven sent grapeseed oil can help tighten skin, restore collagen, and reduce the appearance of stretchmarks.

JOJOBA OIL

Seriously clever jojoba oil closely mimics the sebum found in our skin, making it exceptionally good at penetrating and moisturising deep layers. Rich in vitamins A, D and E, jojoba is antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and hypoallergenic, and can calm rashes, soothe dermatitis, and help reduce the appearance of stretchmarks.

LAVENDER FLOWERS

Lavender’s pretty purple stems are rich in anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic properties that stimulate the immune system and help promote healing and ease inflammation.

LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL

Magical lavender essential oil helps to promote restfulness and nurture emotional health. A powerful analgesic as well as antiseptic, it can also help reduce pain associated with muscle tension and headaches, prevent skin infection and encourage healing.

LEMONGRASS ESSENTIAL OIL

LEMON MYRTLE ESSENTIAL OIL

Australia’s very own super tree, a warm bath infused with the antibacterial and antiseptic leaves of Lemon Myrtle can help cleanse skin and help alleviate symptoms of the common cold.

LINDEN FLOWERS

Small in size but packed with power, linden flowers are a natural diaphoretic that help release toxins and congestion in the body, as well as a natural expectorant, which helps calm coughing.

MACADAMIA OIL

Native to Australia, beautiful macadamia oil promotes skin cell regeneration, as well as softens and moisturises dry or irritated skin without clogging pores.

MANDARIN ESSENTIAL OIL

MARSHMALLOW ROOT

Not a sweet treat but just as good, infused in a warm bath the root from Marshmallow is an anti-inflammatory that helps reduce pain and swelling of the mucous membranes that line the respiratory tract. When used on the skin, Marshmallow root can soothe irritation and inflammation.

OATS

An absolute must for sensitive skin, oats are an excellent natural moisturiser rich in anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agents that help calm itchiness and dryness associated with eczema and other skin conditions. Used as a gentle exfoliant, ground oats remove dead skin cells and stimulate circulation, while a soak in an oat-infused bath will leave skin beautifully smooth and supple.

PUMPKIN SEED OIL

Rich in vitamin E, zinc, omega-3 and omega-6, essential fatty acids and antioxidants, pumpkin seed oil works hard to replenish and retain skin’s moisture, fight free radicals out to age us, and improve skin appearance and texture.

ROSEHIP OIL

SUNFLOWER OIL

TAMANU OIL

Packed with potent healing properties, Tamanu oil has been used in the South Pacific for hundreds of years as a natural, topical, first-aid oil. Its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties help encourage skin tissue generation, accelerate wound healing and stimulate the growth of healthy new cells.

THYME LEAF

A rich source of vitamin C, fragrant thyme leaf can help boost immunity and alleviate common colds and frustrating congestion. A warm bath infused with thyme can also help with nasty coughs.
